An Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining a superior level of customer service to help achieve the stores sales and profitability objectives. Assistants accurately and efficiently process sales and service the stores customers in such a way as to encourage return customer visits. They also show leadership and management potential in order to promote a team environment. In addition to cashier duties, Assistant's learn to manage daily paperwork, assist in inventory management and help develop the retail team.
